The icon from the Pentecostarion tier originally belonged to the iconostasis of the Church of the Nativity of Christ in Zhovkva.
At the center of the composition is a white cloth bearing the Image of Christ Not Made by Human Hands, held by two angels by its upper edges. Christ’s face is enclosed within a cross-shaped gilded halo. The white cloth is decorated with a refined golden vegetal ornament.
The gilded background is adorned with carved and poured gesso ornament. The icon is framed in a deep carved and gilded frame.
